The most common thing I hear from pastors is, “Paul, I can’t share this stuff with anyone. I’m the one who’s supposed to help other people with their problems.” No wonder being a pastor, minister, priest, or spiritual leader can feel very lonely.
You Don’t Have To Bear This Alone
- Spiritual leaders are allowed to have problems.
- Spriritual leaders are allowed to make mistakes.
- Spiritual leaders are allowed to be just as human as the members of their congregation.
If you are a Pastor and need a place to practice being real I can provide an accepting, safe environment where you don’t have to have it all together anymore. Here are some of the ways I’ve helped pastors:
Family And Marriage Issues
Pastors have fights, disappoints, mistakes, conflict, questions, and hurts in their relationships. If your marriage needs some help I can provide some practical solutions that consider the special dynamics being a pastor brings.
Pastors wrestle with tempation, lust, lying, greed, jealousy, envy, etc… Counseling can provide a confidential environment to finally start dealing with the issues that continually compromise your ministry.
If you’ve already made some poor decisions you are probably very scared, very lonely, and don’t know who to trust. I’d like you to experience a place where you can be painfully honest and not find rejection and condemnation. I’d like you to find some compassion and healing as you start down the road of reconciliation and personal healing.
When conflicts arises between the pastor and other members of a leadership team, members of the church, or other individuals its not possible to be both a player and an unbiased moderator. That’s when a third-party, neutral person can bring a fresh perspective to the situation. For more information see the Consulting Page.
