It’s a very turbulent time in the world right now.
People are scared. Your people are scared.
- Crazy gas prices.
- Supply chain issues.
- Groceries becoming more expensive.
- Stock market fears.
- Bad job numbers.
- Interest rates.
This is the time—as the plane is going through some major turbulence—that you, as their leader, need to be proactive and reach out. Let your staff and employees know you’re aware of the fear and that they’re not alone.
You may not have all the answers.
You may not know how to stop the plane from shaking (sometimes there’s nothing you CAN do). At least they’ll know you care about them and you’re in it with them.
