I had to get my tires rotated and balanced today. And I had to go to a tire store I’ve never been to—Discount Tires.

When I got there, someone named Jason came out, shook my hand and asked, “How can I help you.”

When the car was done, someone named Kevin called me and said it was ready—45 minutes sooner than they said.

When I came to pick up my car, Austin stuck out his hand, introduced himself, and got me my keys.

With all three interactions I had a human being look me in the eye, tell me their name, and shake my hand. I felt welcomed like a human being and not just another random customer.

What would happened if, with EVERY person you met, you stuck out your hand, told them your name, and then listened to what they needed?
